Respect plays a very vital role in Filipino community. It is an deep admiration to someone which is considered important. Respect is also a way of expressing gratitude care and concern. Filipino society nowadays is full of negative things. We can see from the news the lost of respect of people to others which damages the loves of those which are not respected. An example of this is when someone is raped. Filipinos who did this thing do not respect the person he/she raped. Another thing is when a daughter or son do whatever he wants to do without considering the opinion of his or her parents. This shows lack of respect to elderly.

If we have respect to each other, we can have universal harmony.
